Introducing: Ivorie

I’m absolutely thrilled to introduce the newest member of The Doberneck Team, Ivorie! (If you missed the big team announcement, you can catch up on our news here.)

As you know, I pride myself on not only my expertise in the real estate market but also on the genuine connections I am able to build with clients. To continue that tradition, I thought there was no better way to get to know Ivorie than through a good old-fashioned interview!

Get ready to meet Ivorie and learn about her growing passion for real estate, her unique insights, and what makes her the perfect fit for The Doberneck Team. Let's get to it!

Q: What is your name and where are you from?

A: My name is Ivorie Poudrier. I’m from northern Arizona originally and I also lived in Texas for 10 years. I currently live in the valley in Anthem, AZ. 

Q: Tell us a little bit about your family.

A: I have four living children and two angel babies. My husband and I have been married for 15 years this year. 

Q: What made you want to get into real estate?

A: The flexibility of schedule combined with the amount of money you can make is, in my opinion, a perfect job for a mom. I’m able to pick my kids up from school if I need to and take them to activities and still be able to work a good amount of hours while they’re at school and also in the evenings when my husband is home to take care of things at home. It feels like a good balance. I like people and I like homes – I get to go walk through all of the homes and get ideas and that’s fun for me! 

Q: After you got your license, you chose Platinum Realty Group and then decided to join The Doberneck Team. Why?

A: You helped us  buy our home in November and that was a seamless experience, even though we made it difficult for you! I know that you know what you’re talking about, you’re very much there for your clients and not afraid to do what it takes for them in negotiations. I knew what I was getting into by having you as my agent previously, and I wanted to be that type of agent. You’re a very warm personality – people flock to you. You’re very outgoing, which is something I’m not, so I’m learning a lot and this has been a perfect decision for me. 

Q: What is something a client can get from working with you that they might not find elsewhere?

A: I’m super easy going and friendly and want to give off the feeling of “Ivorie is my friend and she will have my back.” On the other side of that, with negotiations with other agents, I am going to put my best foot forward and fight for my clients and what they deserve. I would hope that my clients can feel that protectiveness when they work with me.
